Deaf or Hard of Hearing Services

American Sign Language (ASL) services

JFK offers on-demand video interpreting in American Sign Language (ASL) through Convo Now. This service is free and helps Deaf or hard-of-hearing travelers communicate with Airport Customer Service Specialists (ACES).

To use it:

  • Find an ACES wearing a red shirt at a Information Center near Baggage Claim.
  • Scan the QR code they provide to connect with a live ASL interpreter in your browser.
