info

Pick ups and drop offs may take longer than usual due to construction at JFK. We recommend taking Public Transportation to the airport.

Early for a pick up or drop off?

Two free options to wait

There is no parking allowed in front of or next to any of our terminals. Terminal curbsides are for active pick ups and drop offs only. If you leave your vehicle unattended, it will be towed at the owner's expense.

Free wait lot

This on-airport lot is ideal for both pick up and drop offs. Travelers can access all terminals via a free 8-minute AirTrain ride.

You must stay in your vehicle at all times.

For directions, search “JFK Lefferts Boulevard AirTrain Station opens in a new tab” in your GPS or follow roadway signs for the “Wait Lot” area.

This lot is easily accessible from the Van Wyck Expressway or Belt Parkway near the airport entrance. It is closest to Terminals 1 and 4. For Terminals 5, 7, and 8, we recommend using the Cell Phone Lot.

Cell phone lot (East)

Another convenient alternative if you are waiting to pick up a passenger is the free Cell Phone Lot opens in a new tab, which is less than five minutes from all terminals. This lot is strategically located near the JFK Expressway and is the closest wait lot to access Terminals 5, 7, and 8.

For directions to the free Cell Phone Lot opens in a new tab, enter “JFK Cell Phone Lot” in your GPS or follow the signs when entering the airport.

Navigate JFK with the AirTrain
