Credit, Debit, or Contactless Payment

Customers can pay for parking with credit or debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express), E-ZPass, or contactless payments like Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay. To save time when leaving, use a credit or debit card at an Express Pay machine.

E-ZPass Plus

Customers can use their E-ZPass tag to pay for airport parking. E-ZPass Plus is available if:

Commercial accounts: Call the E-ZPass Plus Customer Service Center to activate.

How it works:

  1. Entering the lot: Use the lanes marked with purple E-ZPass signs. Drive up to the gate and wait for the arm to rise. This may take up to 20 seconds. Do not pull a ticket.
  2. Exiting the lot: Your E-ZPass tag will be read at the exit plaza if you accessed the parking facility and used an E-ZPass entry lane. Your account will be charged at posted parking rates.
  3. Payment: If your fee is $20 or under, it will be deducted from your E-ZPass account balance. If the fee is $20 or more, it will be charged to the credit card linked to the E-ZPass account.

Parking for travelers with restricted mobility

Parking spaces for customers with disabilities are available in every parking lot, including near terminal entrances and in the long-term lot near the Howard Beach and Lefferts Boulevard AirTrain stations. Subject to availability. Vehicles must prominently display a non-expired, state-issued ADA license plate, placard, or permit. Violators will be towed.

A courtesy discount is available to customers with official, non-expired, state-issued ADA license plates, placards, or permits.

  • The discount cannot be used with prebooked reservations or E-ZPass payment.
  • Do not enter via E-ZPass lanes. You must enter through the ticket lane and pull a ticket.
  • Upon exit, press the HELP button to speak with an attendant. They will validate your ADA tag and adjust your fee to reflect the discount.
  • The discount applies only after your parking charges exceed $35 per day.
  • Charges are incurred in 30-minute increments until the daily maximum is reached.
  • ADA accessible spaces can’t be reserved. Premium reserved parking areas are the next most convenient spaces if all accessible parking spaces are full.
