Ride App Pick Up Relocation

Arriving passengers

The ride app (e.g. Uber, Lyft) pick-up location for terminals 5 and 7 has been relocated to a designated lot at the AirTrain Howard Beach station opens in a new tab. Arriving passengers at terminals 5 or 7 who want to use a for-hire vehicle or car service must take the AirTrain to Howard Beach. The JFK AirTrain is free within the airport, including trips to the Howard Beach Ride App and Car Services pickup lot.

Customer service representatives and baggage handlers will assist passengers at the lot.

Departing passengers

This will not affect passengers riding to the airport for departure, who can still be dropped off in front of the terminal.

Passengers requesting accessible pick ups

ADA-accessible ride shares will remain available to customers at the front of the terminal. Wheelchair Services are best arranged through your airline prior to your flight. This will ensure that an attendant is prepared to assist you from your gate to your ride app pick up.
