Partial MTA Service Disruption

There will be no MTA  train service at Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Airport from Friday July 31 at 11:45pm through Monday August 3 at 5am, due to signal modernization on the Queens Blvd Line.

How can I get to JFK Airport during the MTA  train suspension? 

If you’re traveling to or from JFK Airport during this service disruption:

  • Free shuttle buses will be available at affected stations

  • LIRR will cross-honor fares

  • We recommend taking the MTA  train to Howard Beach-JFK Airport to connect with AirTrain JFK

 

Why is MTA  train service suspended?

The MTA  subway line will be partially suspended while the MTA completes signal modernization work on the Queens Blvd Line.
